An infographic made after Caroline Criado’s book, Invisible Women (2019). Caroline Criado Perez argues that there is a “gender data gap” that massively affects women. The bulk of the world’s data is largely based on male bodies and male behaviors. This results in a world that not only caters to men but often actively disadvantages women. When it comes to medical trials and health treatments, this data gap can be dangerous for women.
